The Noyokos started out in a small upstairs bedroom with nothing but a set of electronic drums, a silvertone guitar and case amp. The original founding members, of the original group, cody lamb (drums) and caleb hoffman(vocals/guitar) began playing together in the summer of 2009 and eventually moved to a larger drumset and cody's garage. Later that summer, zach buschman (guitar) and Connor Vest (bass) made a call to invite caleb to play a half hour gig in a neighbors backyard. After playing this gig the band decided to stay together as a group. Early that school year, they made the decision to combine groups for a dual drummer experience that has a feel like no other. After Mcgurks leaving, The Noyokos went on to play many shows throughout the summer of 2011. In September 2011 the difficult decision was made to let their current drummer go, who was later replaced by Levi Creek. The Noyokos are currently working on a set of 13 new original songs with genres ranging from funk to grunge Scheduled to be released on January 13 at the End of the Line Music Festival.
